Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp butter at roomtemperature
Taro Smash

Instructions
  1. In a saute' pan or skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the Taro Smash and, stirring constantly, cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until crispy.
  2. Place the taro and potatoes in a steamer or vegetable basket set in a saucepan of lightly boiling water. Cover and steam for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until soft. Drain and mash. Using a wire whisk, beat in the butter and warm ceam. Whisk rapidly so the potato absorbs the other ingredients well. The consistency should be light and fluffy. Season with salt.
