- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1-inch piece ginger

- To prepare the cream, in a saucepan, over medium-high heat, bring the coconut milk, sugar, and ginger to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and summer, stirring frequently, about 3 or 4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Continue to simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors infuse. Strain into a clean pan and reheat just before serving.
