Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, pour boiling water over gingerroot and lemon slices. Let stand 30 minutes. Strain into large pitcher. Add lemon juice and sugar syrup (to taste). Chill until ready to serve. Serve in a tall glass filled with ice, and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
  2. Sugar Syrup: 2 cups water 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup
  3. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 7 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool.
