Basil-Macadamia Nut Pesto
Macadamia nuts add a delectable creamy flavor to a traditional pesto.

Ingredients

fresh sweet basil leaves, chopped

cloves
garlic, minced

cup
chopped parsley leaves

lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste

canola oil
1/2

minced roasted macadamia nuts
Instructions
In a blender, add all the ingredients, except the nuts. Blend. Add the nuts to the mixture, and blend for a few seconds. Keep in refrigerator, or store in the freezer until needed.
