Homeless in Hawaii...the ongoing problem in Paradise...Like any other city, there are homeless...but here in Paradise they are out in the open year around and have taken up camp in many of the beach parks. It's not only a problem in Hawaii but a problem across the United States that is getting worse! Our government continues to cover it up and push these people aside as the standard of living continues to go down, in what use to be, the greatest Country in the world...no more I am afraid.
In this video we see up close the large numbers of Hawaiian's living on the streets. With the ever increasing costs of living in Hawaii more and more people are finding refuge pitching a tent in a park or at the beach and calling it home.
Next we see poverty on the North Shore of Hawaii with Flynn Novak and Kala Alexander. When many people think of Hawaii they think its all beauty, suntans and beaches. When you take a closer look, you'll see poverty, homeless and drug problems in many parts of the islands. Kala Alexander, Flynn Novak and Kalani Chapman explain things like once living on the North Shore for $300 a month, now the same house for rent is $300 a night.
