The growth of performing Hula around the world can be seen in three memorable days at O’ahu’s largest International hula competition in November. Hula groups from around the world including France, Africa, New Zealand and Central America will compete in a variety of categories in both the traditional hula performance (Kahiko) and the contemporary hula performance (auana). This festival allows those who love and respect our unique Hawaiian culture through the art of hula an opportunity to learn more about hula and Hawaiian traditions.
